On the racing side, Saturday, January 10 is "Road to the Derby" Kickoff Day, with six stakes races headlined by the $100,000 Grade III Lecomte for 3-year-olds. While the horses are competing for $500,000 in stakes purses, you can win $50,000 instantly in our Road to the Derby Visible Vault!
Inside our new slots facility, it's Mardi Gras Madness through February 28. Every day, you can get free and earned entries into our drawing, with double entries on Tuesday and Thursday. The qualifying drawings are Saturday, January 31, with the final drawings on Saturday, February 28. Remember that the facility includes three new food offerings -- the Grandstand Buffet on the second floor and the Gentilly Grill and DeSaix Deli adjacent to the slots floor.
At our Fair Grounds OTB Casino facilities throughout southeast Louisiana, our Progressive Hot Seat promotion continues each Monday through Wednesday.
For simulcast customers, dark-day and evening simulcasting at Fair Grounds has moved from the west to the east end of the grandstand. Use either the valet, Gentilly (slots) or east apron entrances to access the simulcast area.
