Tasting at the Track – August 25
Fair Grounds and Dorignac’s Food Center present Tastings at the Track, a series of Wednesday night wine tastings showcasing 25 top wines for $25 per person. Tickets are available at Dorignac’s (710 Veterans Blvd in Metairie) and, if not sold out, will be available at the door. Tastings are 6-8 p.m. on the fourth-floor Clubhouse level. The well-lit and secure parking area at Fair Grounds is always free. The casual, reception-style tastings also feature a selection of cheeses, as well as wine experts who will discuss and answer wine-related questions. For more information, call 504-948-1285.
