Racing Schedule
The 138th live Thoroughbred Meet will run 85 days from Friday, November 6th through Sunday, March 28th. Here is the entire 2009-2010 horse racing schedule.
Maps and Directions
Fair Grounds Race Course and Slots is located in the Mid-City area of New Orleans, approximately 10 minutes from the Central Business District and French Quarter, approximately 20 minutes from New Orleans International Airport and less than five minutes from Interstate 610, which connects with Interstate 10 East and West.
From Downtown/French Quarter: Travel northbound on Esplanade Avenue to North Broad Avenue and turn right. Just past the intersection with Bayou Road, enter the left land for Gentilly Boulevard and turn left. Follow the bend on Gentilly Boulevard; Fair Grounds is approximately ½ mile ahead on the left.

Clubhouse Dress Code
In the Clubhouse dining room, gentlemen are required to wear collared shirts and requested to wear jackets. No shorts, windsuits or sandals allowed.
Minimum Age RequirementsThere is no minimum age for admission to live Fair Grounds races.
The minimum age to wager is 18 for races and 21 for slots facility.
Ticketing
All groups will be pre-ticketed to avoid will-call delays. Our group sales office will have your group’s tickets delivered to you in advance of your event date.
